The sport that are consider Action Sport are MOTOCROSS, SURFING, BMX, MTB, INLINE SKATING, BODYBOARDING & SKATEBOARDING, under these titles you can find different discipline and style of performance in each sport. The definition of Action Sport: Sports that create a high level of excitement for the public viewers performed by athletes who are working under high levels of adrenaline which is controlled by skills and determination, despite the risk of danger.
AASA is an association organized by veteran athletes and fellow members of the Action Sport industry of Puerto Rico and is devoted to protecting the Action Sport Athletes of Puerto Rico.
AASA objective is helping the amateur and professional athletes through their career in the Action Sport world in and out of Puerto Rico.
AASA will be providing career coaching, sponsor treatment review, and contract review. Our goal is to make sure the athletes get the best treatment from organizations that controls the sports and brands that are part of the Action Sport Industry in Puerto Rico.
AASA wants to make sure the practice grounds and competitive events provide the best possible elements for the athletes to perform their skills and be judged correctly.
AASA is dedicated to increasing the value of Puerto Rican athletes as professionals with equal respect, legal rights, exposure, economic help and practice facilities as athletes among other sport like basketball, baseball and others.
AASA believes strongly that together we can better the future of Action Sport in Puerto Rico by protecting the athletes and their careers…without the athletes there is no sport!
